A city clerk in Green Bay, Wisconsin, is being accused of participating in illegal absentee ballot harvesting, according to a new legal complaint filed with the Wisconsin Elections Commission, The Epoch Times reports.
In a complaint filed by a voter named Matt Roeser, clerk Celestine Jeffreys allegedly accepted several absentee ballots from an unknown individual on multiple occasions.
The complaint states the following: “I, as the above-named complainant, allege, upon information and belief, that probably cause exists to believe that absentee ballot harvesting legal violations in the April 5, 2022 Green Bay election occurred because Respondent Celestine Jeffreys approved it in violation of Wisconsin Statues 6.87(4)(b)(1).”
Under Wisconsin state law, it is illegal to receive multiple ballots from an individual voter in the clerk’s office, according to The Epoch Times. The complaint states, “the only legally authorized methods of delivery of absentee ballots are personally delivering your absentee ballot to the clerk or personally mailing it – unless there is a statutory exception.”
The state of Wisconsin has garnered national attention for its reports of rampant election fraud that occurred during the 2020 presidential election.
In March, Trump spokeswoman Liz Harrington released videos from an election fraud hearing in Wisconsin that revealed disturbing details regarding alleged ballot trafficking.
“137,551 trafficked votes in election decided by 20,682,” Harrington stated on Twitter. RSBN previously reported that this was six times larger than the margin of victory for Joe Biden in 2020.
Further, respected Special Counsel Michael Gableman has been investigating evidence of election fraud in Wisconsin since 2021. In March, he presented a 136-page report to state lawmakers that detailed illegal activities during the 2020 presidential election.
