New York’s removal of terms ‘mother’ and ‘father’ in courts proves the American family is under attack

Family is everything. It is the heart of American culture. It drives parents to work hard and provide happy, healthy lifestyles to their communities for the sake of their children and generations to come. But the latest socialist craze in New York is to follow the Communist Manifesto and erase familial terms from legal proceedings.

Governor Kathy Hochul will be replacing "mother" with "gestating parent" and "father" with "non-gestating parent."

On Thursday, the New York state legislature approved a bill to remove gendered terms like “mother” and “father” from family courts, per WRGB News Albany. Although the bill is supposedly designed to be more inclusive of LGBTQ+ families, it replaces common American familial words with ridiculous terms like “gestating parent” and “non-gestating parent.”

Anyone who passed a high school biology class understands that a person who doesn’t gestate is male, and when a man has a child, he becomes a father. Motherhood itself is a female characteristic filled with serious hormonal needs, and only women gestate. But due to modern LGBTQ+ activism, leftist politicians are selling out American biology to win brownie points with a few mentally-ill maniacs who claim that men can have babies.

But there is more to this story. The fight to protect the American family and American individual rights has been waging for years. During the 1960s, while the civil rights movement was supposedly liberating people from oppression, American schools shifted away from teaching students their rights. According to the Sandra Day O’Connor Institute, civics education has significantly declined and is no longer prioritized by federal or state governments.

Enter the modern education system, and teachers are more concerned about discussing students’ sexual preferences than American history, biology, mathematics, or English. Even worse, numerous blue states support encouraging child sex changes without parental consent. These sterilize minors before they are old enough to fully understand the long-term effects of the procedures.

Now, why would anyone wish to keep American generations ignorant of their freedoms and prevent them from having families? Because family gives us the support we need to succeed as individuals for years to come.

The father of Communism knew this. Karl Marx wrote about abolishing the family in Chapter 2 of his ridiculous Communist Manifesto, and explicitly described how public education should raise children. He spoke about the family as if it were oppressive, and instead, promoted the insane fairy tale that a government-controlled life is freer than one based on individual rights.

While socialist democrats like New York Mayor Zohran Mamdani claim that they do not follow communism, they support communist practices that give the government more control over children than parents. He specifically supports child serialization in the form of gender affirming care and seeks to remove parental rights from childcare health policies involving LGBTQ+ children.

The bill to remove the words “mother” and “father” from New York family courts brings the state closer to a Marxist future filled with state worship instead of parental love and guidance. New York Governor Kathy Hochul is expected to sign the legislation into law, as she publicly supports LGBTQ+ insanity.

New York is facing budget deficits, rising debt, high taxes, soaring energy costs, and an affordability crisis.

While it seems impossible, communism is expanding in the United States under the guise of “democratic socialism,” and the American family is under attack. Removing important terms will affect future generations. How we speak affects how we think and respond, and will likely affect family court rulings. Parents must be prepared. We cannot let any ruling body sever the bonds between mothers, fathers, and their children.
