It has not even been a year since the attempted assassination of President Donald J. Trump in Butler, Pennsylvania—yet so much has changed for the better.
Surviving the attack, Trump noted his survival was nothing short of a miracle, attributing it to providence—God directly sparing his life. That moment alone reminded many Christians across the nation that God still raises up leaders for His purposes.
As Christians celebrate Holy Week, Good Friday and Easter Sunday, it is worth reflecting on the changes we have seen in the United States under President Trump’s leadership. Surviving that shooting was not just a political turning point; it was a spiritual one. For many believers, it confirmed what they already sensed: God is not finished with this country yet.
Trump’s decisive victory over Kamala Harris gave many Christians renewed hope that God still has plans for the United States. His bold agenda—America First—has aimed to restore both prosperity and clarity to a confused and broken culture.
One clear example is his firm rejection of leftist ideology, including the denial of biological reality. Today, job application forms under his administration list just two genders—male and female. That alone signals something significant: a return to moral common sense.
Trump’s agenda does not stop with cultural issues. He refuses to bow to the liberal media, the activist court system or any force that seeks to undermine the rights and safety of the American people.
A staunch friend and protector of Israel, Trump stands as perhaps the strongest presidential U.S. ally the Holy Land has ever had. That commitment matters deeply to Christians and Jews alike, as Israel holds profound spiritual and historical significance.
In a time when many shy away from public faith or outright mock the name of God, President Trump has openly embraced this nation’s Christian heritage and proclaimed America to be a nation under God. He has made clear that this country’s Christian foundations are not a relic of the past but a necessary anchor for the future.
As a student of history, Trump understands that the unique relationship between Christianity and the American experiment cannot be overlooked. He has chosen to embrace that reality because it is precisely those biblical values that uphold freedom and order.
“During this sacred week, we acknowledge that the glory of Easter Sunday cannot come without the sacrifice Jesus Christ made on the cross,” wrote Summer Lane of RSBN, citing President Trump. Such a statement captured the tone of a nation whose leadership once again honors the truths of Scripture.
The contrast between Trump and the previous administration could not be sharper. A deliberate departure from Christian standards marked the Biden era, and in many cases, a celebration of pagan ideologies took its place.
But the Lord rules over every nation and every government. He raises up and tears down according to His will. Trump’s presidency presents a rare opportunity not only for political reform but also for the resurrection of the Christian ideals once held dear by the Founding Fathers.
