“The wicked flee when no one pursues, but the righteous are bold as a lion.” –Proverbs 28:1

President Donald Trump ran on a platform of law and order, seeking to address the rising crime and lack of justice prevalent nationwide during the previous administration.

The last administration had less regard for crimes such as illegal immigration yet embraced sanctuary cities where violent offenders could easily escape law enforcement officers. Instead of focusing on protecting law-abiding Americans, their policies allowed criminals to roam freely, putting innocent people at risk. The justice system went downhill thanks to poor leadership as it seemed criminals were favored, and the police were constantly sidelined.

In profound contrast, Trump and his cabinet are actively going after violent offenders and working to restore law and order nationwide. Not surprisingly, almost all of Trump’s executive orders or policies are being challenged, notably in the courts. Liberal judges and politicians continue to block legitimate measures meant to protect American citizens.

Although it is apparent that Trump’s team is not backing down, it seeks to establish credibility for the Justice Department and high-ranking law enforcement agencies, such as the FBI. Americans have lost trust in these institutions, watching them become politicized against conservatives while allowing real criminals to walk free. Trump has made it clear that he will not stand for this. His administration is determined to combat corruption, hold criminals accountable, and support law enforcement’s brave men and women who have been under attack.

It is a collaborative effort in which the rising crime seen throughout the nation must be faced by political and city leaders. Judges blocking legitimate measures is troubling, but the current administration has been clever in working its way around unjust orders to achieve safety for the American people. While some leaders make excuses and avoid tough decisions, Trump is proving that strong leadership can turn the tide.

There is a real battle of wickedness and righteousness that Trump understands. He ran on defeating the wicked, and the American people voted for his policies in record numbers. His message of law and order resonated because people saw firsthand what happens when leadership fails to act. Crime surges, cities collapse and everyday Americans suffer.

Of course, it is not just illegal immigration but a total disregard for state and national laws that are plaguing the nation. A recent example is the numerous terrorist attacks on Tesla dealerships. These attacks demonstrate what happens when lawlessness is tolerated, and criminals become emboldened, knowing they will face no consequences.

President Trump has promised a golden age for America and understands this will not occur unless cities and states reform their destructive behavior. Without law and order, there can be no progress. America cannot move forward if crime, corruption and weak leadership continue to prevail. The righteous must be bold, and it is clear Trump is leading that charge.
