Upon his arrival to the Flight 93 Memorial in Shanksville, Penn., on the 20th anniversary of 9/11, Joe Biden was duped into taking a photo by a group of young children sporting MAGA attire.
After images surfaced showing Biden smiling with the cheesing group of kids who wore t-shirts and hats supporting President Donald Trump, the 45th president weighed in stating, “These kids tricked Biden just like the Taliban did!”
A noteworthy detail of the photo is that Biden pulled down his mask to pose with the group of maskless kids, whilst ironically ordering the Department of Education to conduct an investigation into Gov. Ron DeSantis, R-Fla., for banning mask mandates in public schools last week.
Before arriving to the Keystone State, Biden on the same day visited the 9/11 Memorial in New York City to pay respects where both of the World Trade Centers once stood. He was joined by former Presidents Barack Obama and Bill Clinton.
However, Biden was not happily greeted; he was instead met with loud boos and ridicule from New Yorkers.
Biden did not deliver a speech to crowds at the memorials. However, he spoke briefly with reporters at the Flight 93 Memorial, telling them that Al Qaeda could “come back.”
“If you would have told anybody that we were going to spend $300 million bucks a day for 20 years to try to unite the country after we got bin Laden, after Al Qaeda was wiped out there, can Al Qaeda come back? Yeah,” said Biden.
“But guess what? It’s already back in other places,” he said condecendingly. “What’s the strategy? Every place where Al Qaeda is, we’re going to invade and have troops stay in? Come on.”
Biden has been booed and ridiculed by crowds several times throughout recent months. He was booed by New Jersey residents last week after doing a photoshoot in the Garden State among the carnage left by Hurricane Ida, and he was given similar treatment in Pennsylvania while traveling to a Mack Truck facility in Lehigh Valley to speak to workers.
