Rep. Lauren Boebert, R-Colo., overwhelmingly defeated her primary challenger in Tuesday’s Colorado Republican primary election.

Representing Colorado’s 3rd Congressional District, Boebert faced criticisms for her America First policies and clashes with establishment politicians. Nevertheless, she easily defeated state Sen. Don Coram with about 65 percent of the vote, according to The Denver Post.

After her massive victory Tuesday, Boebert tweeted, “Freedom wins! Thank you for all of your support.” She added, “I love and appreciate all of you and promise to work as hard as I can to help get our country back on track.”

Boebert responded to the smear campaigns employed against her, saying, “I hope this is a big, huge message to any RINOs who try this in the future. You can try to get Democrats to influence our election. It ain’t gonna work.”

The congresswoman’s comments also reference how Colorado’s 3rd Congressional District primary election was influenced by Democrat PAC called American Muckrakers, who alleged that the Colorado representative was a “paid escort.”

As the incumbent representative, Boebert has also received criticism for interrupting Biden’s State of the Union address to hold him accountable for the 13 U.S. troops killed in Afghanistan and for making comments about the separation of church and state.

However, Tuesday’s primary results showed that the MAGA movement remains strong throughout the country and that Republican voters continue to support Boebert.

“I’m thrilled the voters showed their confidence in me to continue being their Representative,” said Boebert. She added, “Hard-working Americans recognize now is not the time to go along to get along, it’s time to stand up and fight for our American way of life. That is exactly what I will continue to do.”
