Tens of thousands of Trump supporters made their way to the York Family Farms in Cullman, Ala. on Saturday evening for one of President Trump’s famous “Save America” rallies.
From the moment that he hit the stage, Trump unsurprisingly began tearing into Joe Biden for his handling of the crisis in Afghanistan. “We are getting a little tired of the ‘woke generals,’ where they move out the military before they move out our civilians,” said Trump.
“We have 45,000 people there, Americans…they have no idea,” he said. “One year ago this month, in my nomination acceptance speech, I warned the entire country of the disastrous consequences of a Biden Administration.”
“Not only have my predictions come 100 percent true, but it’s even worse than any of us could have even imagined in our worst nightmare,” Trump added.
The 45th president has been very vocal in regards to the way that Biden has handled not only the war in Afghanistan, but the entire military, in general.
“I said that Biden would embolden America’s enemies, and that’s what he’s done,” Trump told the crowd. “Our military is being given to the enemy! Biden failed totally on the pandemic and now he’s overseeing the greatest foreign policy humiliation in the USA. Vietnam looks like a master class in strategy compared to Joe Biden’s catastrophe. It didn’t have to happen,” he said.
President Trump also made note of Biden’s lack of urgency during the Afghanistan debacle, saying that the current commander-in-chief portrays weakness.
“Joe Biden was going on vacation as Afghanistan was going to hell. And this is what you get when you have weakness in the White House. You can’t have weakness in the White House. They need to respect your president,” he continued.
Speaking about the vast contrast between his and Biden’s leadership style, the 45th president said, “Under my administration, everyone in the world knew not to mess around with America, they knew that,” said Trump. “This never would have happened if I was president!”
Also during his speech, Trump reiterated his support for Congressman Mo Brooks for U.S. Senate in 2022. Brooks is a Republican and Trump ally, who is currently serving Alabama’s 5th Congressional District and was elected to the House of Representatives in 2010.
“With your help, we are going to elect our friend Mo Brooks to the U.S. Senate,” said Trump. “We are going to fire Nancy Pelosi, Chuck Schumer, and Joe Biden.”
Ripping into other Democrats, he added, “I predicted that he (Biden) would unleash a wave of violent crime. You look at these Democrat run cities, Chicago, L.A., big cities, small cities. Every one run by a Democrat. New York. They don’t prosecute Democrats in New York, only Republicans.”
Even though President Trump has not confirmed his exact plans, he has hinted that there is a strong possibility that he will run in the 2024 race for the White House.
In an interview that aired earlier this week, Fox News’ Sean Hannity questioned Trump on whether he would once again, be running for president.
“Let me put it this way, I think you’ll be happy and I think that a lot of our friends will be happy, but I’m not actually allowed to answer it,” Trump said. “Makes it very difficult if I do.”
