President Donald Trump hosted a glitzy premiere of Dinesh D’Souza’s new documentary film, “2000 Mules,” at his Mar-a-Lago resort in Florida on Wednesday. The event drew attendance from prominent conservative invitees like Kari Lake, Lara Logan, General Michael Flynn, and Kyle Rittenhouse.
“2000 Mules” details the latest reports of evidence related to ballot harvesting that have plagued the 2020 presidential election. D’Souza, who has previously made films like “Hillary’s America: The Secret History of the Democratic Party” and “Death of a Nation,” has stated that his newest film is the “movie we’ve all been waiting for.”
The private screening of “2000 Mules” at Mar-a-Lago occurred two days after the film first premiered in theaters on Monday. On Saturday, May 7, the film will be available to stream online during a virtual premiere event.
President Trump himself has additionally endorsed the film, calling it “an incredible new film” and telling supporters that it exposes “massive and determinative ballot harvesting in the 2020 Election.”
The 45th president will also screen the film on Friday at his Save America rally in Greensburg, Pennsylvania, promising rallygoers a special glimpse at the film ahead of its virtual premiere.
The issue of ballot harvesting, or “trafficking,” was brought to the forefront of the conversation on election integrity in January when over 200 individuals were allegedly caught on camera dumping large amounts of ballots into drop boxes in the middle of the night in Georgia in 2020.
Ballot dumping also reportedly took place during the 2021 Senate run-offs in Georgia.
However, D’Souza’s documentary asserts that the conspiracy to dump ballots did not only affect the Peach State but many other key states.
