InfoWars host and founder Alex Jones jumped on X on Thursday evening to react to Joe Biden’s angry State of the Union address, joining Tucker Carlson in a conversation about the future of the country.
During the State of the Union, Joe Biden touched on a variety of topics, including gun control, Ukraine, and even the border crisis. He blamed his “predecessor,” Donald Trump, for pressuring congressmen and women to vote against the disastrous Senate border bill. He also asked Congress to send more weapons to Ukraine.
In light of Biden’s angry rhetoric on Thursday night, the question of how Democrats might handle a second Trump on the heels of a prospective general election victory in November is at the forefront of many Americans’ minds.
On this subject, Jones had more than a few thoughts to share. “We’re winning the culture war, so they want to induce us into violence,” he observed.
He continued, “They’re introducing legislation, the Democratic Party and the House and Senate, to strip Trump of the Insurrection Act, which George Herbert Walker Bush used during the L.A. riots, and they’re saying: ‘Oh, we know when he gets elected, if he does, there’s going to be huge uprisings, and he’s a white supremacist, so we’ve got to drive him from office that way.’”
Jones explained that the left was “planning to torch the country when [Trump’s] president-elect before he’s in and try to intimidate everyone.”
He added, “So, Black Lives Matter and Antifa, and all of this Hezbollah, Hamas protests…they’re invoking that, and they’re hyping that up now as their third rail, or their fifth column…to then burn the country down within weeks of him being president-elect.”
This is not the first time that Jones has made such a prediction. In December 2023, he suggested that the “Deep State” may attempt to assassinate President Trump to block him from holding office once again.
He told Tucker Carlson during that previous interview: “If you look at the trajectory of this, how they’re escalating on Trump, whether you love him or hate him – he’s now a populist icon. He’s now the underdog. The globalists are coming after him. They’re coming after our right to vote for who we want.”
During his Thursday night SOTU reaction, Jones said that the left’s plan was to “terrorize the American people” into “removing” President Trump in the period of time between November 5, 2024, and January 20, 2025.
