As the Trump administration officially hits its 100th day in action, it secured another America First win for consumers amid an announcement from Walmart that will put United States products at the forefront of their retail efforts.

According to a report from Axios, Walmart will expand its support for products made in America with a “Grow with US” program, which will help small businesses get their products to market nationwide amid difficult retail processes.

This news from Walmart is the newest America First victory in a long line of domestic manufacturing wins for Trump’s administration so far.

In fact, Tuesday marked the 100th day of the Trump administration – a moment the White House highlighted by reminding Americans that President Trump has thus far secured more than $5 trillion in new U.S.-based investments, which is set to create over 450,000 new jobs in the United States.

Per Axios, Walmart’s new “Grow with US” program includes four major steps and will supply small businesses not only with the tools needed to succeed in retail but also with rich resources like mentorship and training.

“We’ve seen firsthand how investing in small businesses results in better assortment, better meeting the needs of our customer base, and supporting jobs and growth in communities,” Walmart CEO John Furner told the outlet.

This investment in American businesses has been echoed by many major companies over the past several weeks since President Trump took office. IBM announced a $150 billion investment in the U.S. over the next five years, for example, and Merck & Co. announced a $1 billion investment in manufacturing on the East Coast, per the White House.

There have also been multi-billion-dollar investments from companies like NVIDIA, Apple, Roche, Project Stargate, Hyundai, Chobani, and GE Aerospace.

According to Furner, Walmart expects “thousands of small businesses” to participate in the “Grow with US” program. Walmart’s decision to boost domestic businesses rather than foreign ones will also likely give them an advantage over other companies still fighting President Trump’s tariff policies, which are aimed at bringing production back to American states.
