Protestors were organized outside of the New York City Mayor’s mansion to oppose the Islamification of the United States, when counter-protesters clashed with the group. According to the New York Post, young adults Ibraham Kayumi and Emir Balat threw a homemade bomb at protesters after being trained by ISIS.
The suspects reportedly traveled to Turkey and other terror-training hot spots. They also admitted to the police that they watched ISIS videos before throwing the bomb, which is called “Mother of Satan.”
The clearest video yet of the terrorist who attempted to throw an explosive at the protest yesterday in NYC.

No one was hurt by the bomb because Chief Edwards spotted one of the suspects lighting the fuse and jumped into action. Edwards leapt over a barricade and chased them down. When asked about his heroics, he told the New York Post, “I always say, we’re all cops, right?”
“Regardless of rank, regardless of life, regardless of position, you’re a cop first. Once a cop, always a cop,” he added.
Edwards was promoted to Chief last December. He began pursuing a career in law enforcement after the September 11th terrorist attacks and has remained dedicated to protecting and serving.
His selfless actions are being heralded across the nation.
First Class Fatherhood host Alec Lace posted about Edwards on X, stating, “In the face of Islamic terrorists, he pursued the bomb throwing animals so New Yorkers could stay safe! God bless him and every cop who protects us.”

Army Veteran Bob Lonsberry posted about Edwards’ dedication. He wrote on X, “He wanted to protect his city. And that’s what he was doing Saturday when he chased down a bomb-throwing terrorist outside Gracie Mansion.”

Former New York City Mayor Eric Adams offered Edwards a lengthy statement of praise. “I always say that when others run away from danger, our brave NYPD officers run toward it,” he stated. “Nothing captures that more than this now-legendary photo of Chief Aaron Edwards, Assistant Chief of Patrol Borough Manhattan North, jumping over a barricade to stop a terrorist from harming New Yorkers.”

Adams summed it up, “This is leadership. This is courage. This is the NYPD.”

Rep. Nancy Mace, R-S.C., stated, “Chief Aaron Edwards ran toward the danger, not away from it. He put himself between a bomb and the people he swore to protect. Chief Edwards is a hero.”
“In a normal world, it would have been NYPD Chief Aaron Edwards being celebrated at Gracie Mansion after he leapt into action, hurdling the barrier like a real-life, muscle-car-driving, 1970s gritty cop-show hero.

White House visit, instead? Just sayin.” https://t.co/p3Ffdqv1Gx
Fox News Digital Columnist David Marcus pointed out that Edwards should be celebrated at Gracie Mansion, but because that invitation has yet to be extended, the White House should consider offering Edwards the honor of a visit.
