Americans are decrying Islamist demonstrations that celebrated the anniversary of the Oct. 7 Hamas attacks on Israel, marking two years since the horrific acts, which sparked a war that has ravaged Gaza.

Before the events, Rep. Randy Fine, R-Fla., posted a Stanford University flier for one Oct. 7 event honoring Islamic “martyrs.” He noted, “Muslims having a rally on October 7th in honor of Muslim terrorists who slaughtered 1200 men, women, and children. Demons walk among us.”
The Tuesday displays included masses of “Pro-Palestine Protesters” who flooded the streets, waving the Palestinian flag and calling for more demonstrations.

He then recalled the response to the Oct. 7 attacks in another post. “We must remember October 7th, but also remember October 8th. Islamists in major cities across the West took to the streets to celebrate the massacre and cheer on Hamas,” he stated. “We will never forget those who perpetrated the massacre AND those who celebrated it.”
Conservative commentator Paul A. Szypula posted footage stating, “Hudson Yards in New York City on Tuesday night is packed with jihadists who hate the USA just as much as they hate Israel. “ He noted that the future for New York City will be worse if Mayoral candidate Zohran Mamdani. He predicted that if he gained power, Mamdani would implement Sharia law.
Texas U.S. Senate Candidate Alexander Duncan posted footage of demonstrators vowing, “Our work is not done. We will show up stronger than we did the first Oct. 7.” They then stated, “We will keep fighting until Palestine is free ‘From the River to the Sea.’”

The slogan ‘From the River to the Sea’ was adopted by Hamas in 2012, as they vowed to take every inch of land from Israel just after a bloody conflict, per CNN. It is considered a slur against the Jewish people.
Whether participants are aware that the slogan originated with the terrorist group is uncertain, but Duncan opposed the rhetoric, also posting footage of a massive Palestinian flag being carried by the Islamists. “It’s despicable that we allow terrorist flags to be flown on our American streets,” he stated.
