The U.S. economy added 147,000 jobs in June, soundly beating gloomy forecasts and proving that President Donald Trump’s America First agenda is bringing the country back from Biden-era catastrophe.

According to a report from the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, not only did the U.S. add nearly 150,000 new jobs last month, but the unemployment rate also dropped to 4.1 percent.

Unsurprisingly, amid Trump’s pledge to eradicate bureaucracy at every turn, the bureau reported continued job cuts in the federal government, but noted job gains occurred in state governments and health care.

On Thursday morning, one CNN anchor described Trump’s economy as the “Energizer bunny…every single time we expect it to run out of steam, it just keeps going and going!”

White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt praised the jobs report, noting the economy was “booming.”

“For the FOURTH month in a row, jobs numbers have beat market expectations with nearly 150,000 good jobs created in June. American-born workers have accounted for ALL of the job gains since President Trump took office and wages continue to rise,” she said in an official statement.

This week, while championing the “One Big Beautiful Bill” being considered in Congress, President Trump noted that economic growth was an integral key to restoring American wealth and power.

“THIS GROWTH has already begun at levels never seen before,” the president wrote on Truth Social. “Trillions of Dollars are now being invested into the USA, more than ever before. Likewise, hundreds of Billions of Dollars in Tariffs are filling up the coffers of Treasury.”

The American economy has shown other signs of significant improvement since President Trump took office, as well. According to AAA, the national average for a gallon of gas fell to its lowest levels in four years, following the president’s brokered ceasefire between Israel and Iran.

Gas prices have continued to decline since then. As reported by RSBN, the national average may even fall below $3 per gallon by the end of summer, if current trends in the Middle East continue toward peace.
