Another day, another crash involving illegal immigrants. Conservative author and political commentator, Dr. Carol M. Swain, was the victim of a horrific truck accident involving two Hondurans. The couple crashed their truck into the front ot Swain’s second home in Nashville, where her son now lives.
She posted pictures of the scene to X and called it something out of a “disaster movie.”
Thankfully, no one was hurt, but she described the drivers and the situation that too many Americans are now facing, as wrecks like these are becoming more and more common. “A middle-aged man and woman from Honduras. No licenses, no insurance. The man was generously ‘instructing’ the woman on the fine art of high-speed driving,” she stated.
“They lost control, my house lost a wall, and my insurance company — surprise — gets to cover the full replacement tab, and I get to watch my rates rise and the policy possibly canceled. Because when you’re unlicensed and uninsured, apparently the next best plan is to borrow from responsible American policyholders.”
While bleeding heart liberals claim that not everyone who entered the country illegally is a criminal, they fail to realize the dangers of flooding a nation with people who don’t know the laws. There is a reason why we have a citizenship program for those who legally apply.
But during the Biden administration, our border was left open wider than the Grand Canyon. Millions of unvetted immigrants from third-world countries who know nothing of our values, culture, or, most importantly, our laws stepped in and began doing… whatever they want.
Now, as President Trump rigorously works to deport individuals and families who abused our system and illegally entered the country to take advantage of our resources, leftist leaders continue to denounce those efforts and support the very illegals who are harming Americans as I type.
I see it in my own neighborhood. I live in St. Charles, Missouri. We are in a red area, but the blue city of St. Louis is nearby and spills over. Last year, an illegal immigrant was sentenced to seven years in prison for killing a 12-year-old girl in a car crash, per First Alert 4. My eldest is learning to drive now, and every day we have to be extra careful during driving lessons because we see reckless drivers on the road too often.
This is happening everywhere. Even if illegal immigrants came here “looking for a better life,” liberal leaders are giving them no incentive to learn our language, laws or values. Instead, these “leaders” are enabling dangerous behaviors and inciting culture clashes.
What’s more, some have even worked to get illegal immigrants’ driver’s licenses. Instead of representing the people who pay their wages, liberal leaders seem more invested in representing people who haven’t paid into the very system they claim to want to be a part of.
In November, the U.S. Department of Transportation found that the state of California alone issued 17,000 Commercial Drivers’ Licenses to illegal immigrants. A CDL allows them to operate an 18-wheel truck, which can cause a lot of damage in the wrong hands.
By December, one of those illegal immigrants who received a CDL from Governor Gavin Newsom’s leadership killed a newlywed couple in a crash with his truck in Oregon, per the New York Post. The truck driver was charged, but what about leaders like Newsom who adamantly oppose immigration law and the Trump administration’s ICE forces?

He also says they are not taking jobs from Californians.

He gets to continue running a state into the ground. He walks freely every day, no matter how much pain and suffering he causes Californians through his negligent policies. That should be a crime. He should be held liable.
Any local, state, or federal official (including judges) who allow illegal immigrants to endanger Americans should face the harshest legal penalties. State law enforcement and federal law enforcement need to prevent this growing epidemic of dangerous vehicle collisions caused by illegal immigrants by criminally charging political leaders who aid illegal immigrants who harm others. It doesn’t matter if a car wreck is an accident. An illegal immigrant harming Americans on “accident” can and should be prevented.
The special treatment of illegal immigrants needs to stop, and if it doesn’t, Americans need to start filing civil suits against negligent leaders en masse.
