As Republicans in the United States have taken action to rescue Americans who are stranded in Israel after the Hamas terrorist invasion, Joe Biden’s administration appears to be doing little to nothing to assist its own citizens in returning to home soil.
As reported by RSBN, the U.S. State Department’s Consular Affairs Crisis Management System previously emailed stranded American citizens and allegedly stated that they not only did not have an evacuation plan in place but returning Americans would have to reimburse the government for fees incurred upon their departure.
Last week, Rep. Cory Mills, R-Fla., revealed that he had personally traveled to Israel to assist in rescuing stranded Americans amid the Israel-Hamas war. As reported by RSBN, he assisted in evacuating over 30 Americans last week. However, by Sunday, Mills had rescued 96 Americans, per the National Review.
Rep. Mills is an experienced war veteran with a background working in the Middle East and formerly was appointed as an advisor to the Department of Defense by President Donald Trump.
Further, Gov. Ron DeSantis, R-Fla., has assisted in evacuating Americans from Israel, a statement from his office confirmed.
The statement revealed: “Florida partnered with Project Dynamo to bring nearly 300 evacuees home from Israel, including more than 270 to Tampa and seven to Orlando this afternoon. Once the plane landed in Tampa, evacuees were able to access resources from multiple state agencies. Additionally, the Governor is sending medical supplies, hygiene products, clothing and children’s toys to Israel to help impacted Israelis.”
Gov. DeSantis has also signed Florida EO 23-208 to allow Florida to carry out operations that would enable the Florida Division of Emergency Management to “bring Floridians home and transport necessary supplies to Israel.”
