Joe Biden waged war against the faith community over the weekend when he chose to proclaim March 31, 2024, as the “Transgender Day of Visibility,” which just so happened to fall on the same day as Easter Sunday.

“I call upon all Americans to join us in lifting up the lives and voices of transgender people throughout our Nation and to work toward eliminating violence and discrimination based on gender identity,” Biden wrote in an official White House proclamation.

To add insult to injury, the Biden White House also banned religious-themed art from its annual Easter egg-decorating contest, according to Fox News.

Biden’s move to elevate a new LGBTQ-related celebration on Christian and Catholics’ holiest day of the year, which represents the resurrection of Jesus Christ, was seen as tone-deaf and even outright vindictive by many critics of the Biden administration.

Political writer Savanah Hernandez wrote on X, “Not only did the Biden’s ban all religious-designs from the White House Easter egg art contest but he also proclaimed this Easter Sunday as a ‘Transgender Day of Visibility[.]” Your Catholic President ladies and gentlemen.”

President Donald Trump’s national press secretary, Karoline Leavitt, eviscerated Biden’s proclamation, calling for the White House’s formal apology to religious people in America who celebrate Easter around the country.

Leavitt stated, “Sadly, these are just two more examples of the Biden Administration’s years-long assault on the Christian faith. We call on Joe Biden’s failing campaign and White House to issue an apology to the millions of Catholics and Christians across America who believe tomorrow is for one celebration only — the resurrection of Jesus Christ.”

A report from Breitbart pointed out that there are already more than 50 LGBTQ-related holidays in the United States today, including a preexisting “Transgender Day of Visibility,” along with celebrations like “Pansexual and Panromantic Awareness and Visibility Day” and the month-long deluge of “LGBTQ Pride Month.”
