Mainstream media outlet CNN appeared to make a stunning admission this week by reporting overwhelming support in America for the implementation of voter ID across all demographics, proving that election security is a critical issue for most voters.

“Photo ID to vote? The American people are with Nicki Minaj,” said CNN’s Harry Enten.

Enten was referring to rapper Nicki Minaj’s recent comments on X, in which she commented on the basic security offered by voter ID.

“What sensible forward thinking cutting edge leading nation is having a DEBATE on whether or not there should be VOTER ID?!?!!!! Like?!?!?” she wrote. “They’re actually fighting NOT to have ppl present ID while voting for your leaders!!!!! Do you get it?!?!!!! Do you get it now?!?!!!”

CNN’s Enten reported during his segment that a whopping 83 percent of Americans “agree with Nicki Minaj – they favor photo ID to be able to vote.”

And among specific demographics, the numbers are even more validating for proponents of election integrity – and politically damning for those who oppose it.

95 percent of Republicans support voter ID, and even 71 percent of Democrats do, too, Enten said, citing data from Pew Research Center.

“The American people are with Nicki Minaj, whether they are Republican or even if they are Democrats. We’re talking about 7 in 10 Democrats agreeing with Nicki Minaj that you, in fact, should show a voter photo ID to vote,” he remarked.

This news comes as House Republicans appear nearly ready to push legislation on the floor in 2026 that could codify nationwide voter ID to cast a ballot. Just last week, Republican Congressman Bryan Steil (Wis.) introduced the “Make Elections Great Again Act,” which would require a photo ID to be able to vote. It would also force states to verify the citizenship of those registering to vote.

The act would further require mail-in ballots to be received by the close of the polls on Election Day, ban ballot harvesting, ban ranked choice voting, ban universal voting-by-mail, and implement routine voter list maintenance, as reported by RSBN.
