During a unique appearance at Bitcoin 2024, a cryptocurrency conference held in Nashville, Tennessee, on Saturday, President Trump made several powerful promises that had the audience going wild.
Trump told the Bitcoin 2024 attendees that his new plan would “ensure” that the United States becomes “the crypto capital of the planet and Bitcoin superpower of the world.” This major pledge earned him massive applause. “If crypto is going to define the future, I want it to be mined, minted, and made in the USA.”
“If Bitcoin is going to the moon…I want America to be the nation that leads the way,” said President Trump.
He got a standing ovation when he vowed to fire SEC Chairman Gary Gensler.” He joked, “I didn’t know he was that unpopular!”
President Trump also promised crypto enthusiasts a say in the next Trump White House when he announced he would create a Bitcoin and Crypto Presidential Advisory Council.
Concluding his pitch to crypto fans, he promised, “With low energy costs, America will become the world’s undisputed Bitcoin mining powerhouse.”
