Incumbent Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis will win his reelection bid in the upcoming midterm election as the latest polling confirms the governor’s massive popularity among voters.

A recent Florida Chamber of Commerce poll revealed DeSantis holds a double-digit lead over his Democrat challengers.

The poll conducted between March 18 and 28 among 605 Floridians reported that DeSantis holds a 10-point lead over Agriculture Commissioner and gubernatorial candidate Nikki Fried. The governor also has an 11-point lead against Democrat Rep. Charlie Crist.

Compared to the Democrats on the ballot, DeSantis captured the most support among independents, with 54 percent support against Fried and 56 percent support against Crist.

Moreover, support for the Republican Party has increased as GOP voter registrations continue to climb in the Sunshine State due to DeSantis’ extraordinary leadership.

Florida made history last year after Republican voter registrations surpassed that of Democrats, primarily due to Americans seeking more resilient Republican leadership in the wake of Democrats’ tyrannical Covid policies.

Despite ongoing criticism from the mainstream media and the progressive left on DeSantis’ leadership through the Covid-19 pandemic, Florida’s economy has continued to boom celebrating 22 consecutive months of job growth.

“There were 8,132,300 private sector jobs statewide in February 2022, an increase of 525,200 jobs, or 6.9 percent, over the year,” a press release from the governor’s office stated last month.

DeSantis’ successful leadership is reflected in the overwhelming red wave hitting the Sunshine State. The boost in Republican voters will undoubtedly hand the governor his well-deserved reelection victory.
