Former Special Counsel Robert Hur gave testimony regarding his report on Joe Biden’s classified documents case and revealed major concerns within the justice system.

Hur admitted, “We identified evidence that the President [Biden] willfully retained classified materials after the end of his vice presidency when he was a private citizen.”

Hur also asserted that Biden has not been exonerated

Despite this fact, the DOJ decided not to press charges due to what Rep. Matt Gaetz, R-Fla., referred to as the “senile cooperator theory,” referencing Hur’s testimony that because of Biden’s mental state, it would be difficult to prove criminal intent.

In addition, Hur suggested that Biden did not tell the truth about the mishandling of the classified documents.

Furthermore, Hur disclosed that his investigation found Biden shared the classified information in question with his ghostwriter, who attempted to destroy the recorded evidence but was never charged.

House Judiciary Chairman Rep. Jim Jordan, R-Ohio, also noted the “double standard” being displayed by the DOJ as President Donald Trump faces a similar classified documents case with much less evidence against him.

Turning Point USA founder and CEO Charlie Kirk called it “a damning comparison” and noted that the testimony humiliated Biden.

Jordan posted about the situation to X, decrying this “double standard,” along with other conservative leaders.

Rep. Andy Biggs, R-Ariz., decried the “elderly old man” excuse.

President Trump’s senior advisor, Stephen Miller, wrote, “The wildest fact about the Hur report is that it documents extensive and pervasive criminality by Joe Biden, and yet he is being let off the hook by DOJ completely.”

Finally, Hur’s testimony revealed that the White House attempted to edit the report prior to its release.

Rep. Tom Tiffany, R-Wis., shared the evidence of this noting how White House lawyers attempted to change the report and asked, “Why was the White House trying to obstruct justice?”

Former Republican presidential candidate Vivek Ramaswamy stated, “There are two tiers of justice in Biden’s America: Trump gets indicted, Biden gets off scot-free.”
