President Donald J. Trump showed that the power of Capitol Hill is with him as dozens of senators stood by him during a press conference in Washington, D.C., on Thursday.

In a quick address to the media, the 45th president made clear that many GOP senators support his policies and proposals to “bring common sense to government.” He reaffirmed his commitment to bringing back jobs to the United States and ending illegal immigration.

“We have great unity. We have great common sense,” he said as Sens. Rick Scott, Marsha Blackburn, and many more stood around him. “They want this country to be great again and we’re going to make it great again.”
