All eyes are on the swing states for the 2024 presidential election, and Pennsylvania is a major contender that reportedly began experiencing election integrity issues early Tuesday morning.
Republican National Committee Chairman Michael Whatley posted to X about two developing situations. He wrote, “Early this morning we learned that Republican poll watchers in Philadelphia, York, Westmoreland, Allegheny, Lehigh, Cambria, Wyoming, and Lackawanna Counties were being turned away.”
“We deployed our roving attorneys, engaged with local officials, and can now report that all Republican poll watchers have been let into the building.” he added. “We will keep fighting, keep winning, and keep sharing updates.”
Despite overcoming this concern, about three hours later, Whatley noted another issue for voters in Cambria County.
“We understand that there are some line delays on the ground,” he stated. “We need you to stay in line. We need you to fill out your ballot in full and deliver it. Our Pennsylvania lawyers are all over this issue and will ensure fairness and accuracy in the process.
Whatley then urged voters to, “Stay in line! Deliver your ballot!”
Pennsylvania was one of the questionable factors in the 2020 election, a state that was ordered to remove 178,258 “ineligible registrations” from their voter rolls in 2023 after being sued by the watchdog organization Judicial Watch, via RSBN.
Fears for election integrity are running high in this election.
Just last week, RSBN reported that President Donald Trump warned law enforcement to investigate potential election “cheating” as early voting was underway. He stated, “Law Enforcement must act, NOW!”
