GOP House Conference Chair Elise Stefanik is set to rally with New York GOP gubernatorial nominee and Trump-endorsed candidate Lee Zeldin on Thursday, Nov. 2, just days before a hotly-anticipated midterm election.

The “Save Our State Rally” will be held at the Old Post Road Gold Club in Castleton-on-Hudson in New York. Rallygoers will be joined by special guests like Alison Esposito, the Republican candidate for lieutenant governor of New York, Michael Henry, the GOP candidate for attorney general, and Liz Joy, the Republican candidate for New York Congressional District 20.

Stefanik’s special rally with Zeldin comes just days after Republican Gov. Ron DeSantis made an appearance in New York last Saturday to stump for the GOP nominee.

Per RSBN, DeSantis received a rock star welcome in the Empire State, speaking to thousands of voters and urging them to cast their ballot for Zeldin. “NY deserves a leader who will restore law & order,” DeSantis added on Twitter following the rally. “@leezeldin is the man for the job. Lee will also protect Nyers against irrational & liberty-infringing COVID mandates.”

A new Trafalgar poll conducted between Oct. 27 and Oct. 31 showed that Zeldin had taken the lead in the governor’s race against incumbent New York Democrat Gov. Kathy Hochul. Via the poll, the race is shaping up to be heated, with Zeldin netting a projected 48.8 percent of the vote to Hochul’s 47.6 percent.

“One Week to Go!” Zeldin wrote on Twitter in response to the poll. “Now, let’s work harder in these final 7 days than the past 18+ months combined. Losing is not an option!”
