Billionaire Elon Musk donated $75 million to America PAC, a super PAC that has funded President Donald Trump’s campaign and helped other GOP candidates during the 2024 election cycle.
Musk commented on the news in an X post early Wednesday morning. He wrote, “The @America PAC is just aiming for common sense, centrist values.”
According to Business Insider, the funds were donated between July 1 and Sept. 30. The America PAC itself contributed just under $96 million to Trump. In addition, it has given over $10 million to support Republican House candidates in 18 different districts.
Musk has become a champion for the America First movement. Tuesday night, he accompanied Trump to Pennsylvania and vowed to tour the state and speak with voters in the area until Monday.
In a clip of Musk’s speech, shared to X by reporter Nick Sortor, Musk stated, “President Trump must win to preserve the Constitution. He must win to preserve Democracy in America.”
He called it a “must-win situation.” Musk also urged America First supporters to register to vote and encourage everyone else to do so as well.
“And make sure they actually do vote,” he concluded.
