After Elon Musk and President Donald Trump “broke the internet” with a record-breaking interview on X Spaces, Musk has released a recorded version with better audio quality.
Trump also reposted the updated interview file, noting the sound quality as much better than the original live version.
Trump received criticisms for vocal distortions during the live event and responded to the new audio version in a post to Truth Social on Tuesday which explained speech inconsistencies.
He praised the conversation stating that it was “something special” and noted that “Elon himself is very special.”
Trump thanked Musk for his endorsement and then went on to address the initial voice concerns. “Unfortunately, because of the complexity of modern day equipment, and cellphone technology, my voice was, in certain areas, somewhat different and strange,” he said. “Therefore, we have put out an actual, and perfect, recording of the conversation. ENJOY!!!”
The updated audio file and comments from Trump came after the controversial interview had already faced multiple hurdles. First, the European Union Commissioner warned Musk of the legal consequences of “any negative effect of illegal content on X” regarding what would be discussed.
Then, A distributed Denial-of-Servis (DDoS) attack prevented audience members from joining at the start of the interview. Musk quickly tackled the issue and the conversation was heard across the globe after more than 30 minutes of delay.
RSBN reported that the interview received over 73 million live viewers and has been heard by over a billion listeners and counting.
