President Donald Trump is making plans to attend the college football matchup between number-three Penn State and number-four Ohio State.

The game will be held Nov. 2, just three days before Election Day in the battleground state of Pennsylvania.

“Donald Trump’s team is making plans for the former president to attend the Ohio State-Penn State game on Nov. 2 in State College. If the schedule is finalized, he’d be appearing in a swing state three days before Election Day. Trump attended the UGA-Bama game earlier this year,” Yahoo Sports’ Ross Dellenger first reported.

The noon kickoff at Beaver Stadium is scheduled to air on FOX, offering a massive in-person and television audience.

Pennsylvania remains a key swing state, offering 19 electoral votes in the upcoming presidential election. The latest compilation of polls from RealClearPolitics shows Trump leading Vice President Kamala Harris by 0.6 points, with both candidates within the margin of error in nearly all major polls.

Trump took the lead across all seven swing states earlier in October for the first time. In swing states, he holds a 0.9 percent lead overall, ranging from a 2.2 percent lead in Georgia to a 0.2 percent lead in Wisconsin and Michigan.

Trump’s appearance would follow his recent warm welcome in Pittsburg when he joined fans for the NFL Sunday Night Football game between the Steelers and New York Jets, RSBN previously reported.

The audience cheered wildly when Trump was acknowledged to the crowd, with those in attendance breaking out in chants of, “USA! USA! USA!”

A video of the moment was shared in a post on X by Trump’s Deputy Director of Communications, Margo Martin.

The response to Trump’s visit resembled his attendance at the match-up between the Georgia Bulldogs and Alabama’s Crimson Tide in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, on Sept. 28. As RSBN previously reported, Trump was also greeted with enthusiasm and “USA!” chants.

Trump’s appearance marked the third time he has attended a Crimson Tide football game. He attended the 2018 national title between Alabama and Georgia and a 2019 game against Louisiana State University.

Trump has also attended the annual Army-Navy game. His love of sports also includes his frequent appearances at UFC events and golfing tournaments.
