President Donald Trump has invited Erika Kirk, the widow of the late Turning Point USA President Charlie Kirk, to attend Tuesday night’s State of the Union address.

Mrs. Kirk’s attendance was confirmed by White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt, who reposted a story discussing her inclusion as an honorary guest.

“Erika Kirk will be one of President Trump’s Special Guests at the State of the Union[,]” Leavitt wrote on social media.

According to the Daily Wire, the president will reportedly mention Charlie Kirk during his address on Tuesday evening, and he is expected to further encourage Americans to reject political violence and instead unite as one nation.

Mrs. Kirk is now the acting CEO and chairwoman of Turning Point USA, taking the reins of leadership just days after her husband’s tragic assassination at Utah Valley University on September 12, 2025.

Additionally, President Trump has invited Sage Blair as a special guest to his national address. Ms. Blair is a young woman who was separated from her parents at just 14-years-old following school officials’ attempts to allegedly “secretly” transition her gender to a male, according to the Daily Caller.

President Trump has strongly opposed so-called gender affirming operations on minors throughout his campaign and during his first year back in the White House. Just days after taking office, he signed an executive order protecting children from “chemical and surgical mutilation.”

In addition to the president’s special guests, First Lady Melania Trump will host two extraordinary young women, Sierra Burns and Everest Nevraumont. Burns is a recipient of the Melania Trump Foster Youth to Independence Program, and Nevraumant is 10-year-old AI advocate and Alpha Student.

The president is expected to focus his State of the Union address on working-class Americans and the economy. He will also pay homage to America’s 250th birthday celebration that is rapidly approaching in July, according to Ms. Leavitt.
