First Lady Melania Trump shared the beauty of the White House Rose Garden in full bloom on Tuesday.

She posted pictures of the colorful roses, stating, “The Rose Garden is in full bloom, showcasing a stunning array of vibrant colors and exquisite fragrances. Each variety of rose exhibits its unique beauty.”

Since the formation of the nation, the White House has had a garden, even dating back to President George Washington, per Town & Country, but it was First Lady Edith Roosevelt who designed the West Garden.

In 1961, then-First Lady Jackie Kennedy revised the garden at the request of her husband, President John F. Kennedy. It gained such popularity that The Rose Garden is a Washington D.C. staple, and Melania’s revisions have added her own personal touch.

It has been a big year for Mrs. Trump. In addition to returning to the white house as First Lady, she and President Trump celebrated their 20th wedding anniversary in January, and the couple has reopened the White House to public tours.
