The tides are turning as President Trump maintains a massive lead in recent Polymarket odds in Nevada, showing that President Trump is up by 30 points compared to Harris.

With Nevada being a crucial swing state, the Culinary Workers Union supports President Trump’s no tax on tips policy. Being one of the most influential labor unions in the country, the Culinary Workers Union signals a big shift.

The statement issued by Culinary Union Secretary-Treasurer Ted Pappageorge reads: “The Culinary Union calls Nevada elected officials to support the federal ban of sub-minimum wages and taxes on tips.”

This monumental endorsement results from his policy’s positive reception among the service, restaurant, hospitality, and gaming industries in Nevada since he announced it at his June Las Vegas rally.

The union’s leadership believes that President Trump’s policy will provide substantial financial relief for families across Las Vegas. The entertainment capital of the world is heavily reliant on tips as a main source of income.

The Culinary Workers Union’s support for President Trump’s no tax on tips policy marks a notable shift in the union’s historical political alignment with the Democratic Party.

Nevadans’ wallets are being hit hard by the Biden administration’s failed economic policies. The cost of living, including housing, groceries, gas, and utility prices, soars comparably to the neighboring state of California.

Nevada GOP chairman and current Trump senior advisor Michael McDonald said during an interview with Open Forum, a weekly Filipino conservative-leaning podcast, that “No taxes on tips is life-changing for families. It’s a better quality of life…If we win Nevada, we will win the presidential election.”
