In a remarkable display of support, millions of Americans tuned in to watch President Donald Trump’s latest rally, marking his first public campaign appearance since accepting his party’s nomination for president during the Republican National Convention (RNC) on July 18.
President Trump’s Grand Rapids, Michigan rally on Saturday also marked his first public event following the assassination attempt made against him during a rally earlier this month in Butler, Pennsylvania.
RSBN broadcast the full, unedited campaign rally on YouTube and Rumble and saw staggering viewership across the two platforms. On YouTube, the nine-hour livestream grossed 2.1 million views as of Tuesday while also drawing an additional 1.29 million views on Rumble.
In addition to the entire stream, RSBN featured a segment dedicated to the president’s nearly two-hour speech, which saw 53,000 viewers on YouTube and 54,300 on Rumble as of Tuesday. There were also approximately 50,000 views on Facebook, X, and GETTR.
In total, RSBN viewership on these platforms alone added up to nearly 3.5 million viewers across the two platforms for the president’s rally in Grand Rapids.
While President Trump spoke, roughly 12,000 audience members watched from inside the Van Andel Arena, according to a report from MLive.
The outlet further reported that the line to get into the venue stretched 1.5 miles and then over 16 blocks after the doors to the venue opened.
The Grand Rapids rally was also the president’s first joint event with his running mate, Ohio GOP Sen. J.D. Vance.
Overall, the immense turnout for the president’s rallies, along with millions of viewers watching RSBN’s coverage, further signifies President Trump’s support from many Americans, especially during such tumultuous times.
