Since the outset of the Biden-Harris administration, record numbers of illegal migrants have poured into the United States, and along with them, a surge in crime.

Virginia Republican Gov. Glenn Youngkin issued a sharp rebuke of Biden-Harris’s policies after a gotaway illegal migrant was charged in Fairfax County for child abuse.

In a post on X, Youngkin wrote, “Another despicable crime committed by an illegal immigrant who is not supposed to be here. Too many innocent Virginians have suffered under the open border policies of the Biden-Harris Administration. Local officials in Fairfax County must uphold their duty to cooperate with ICE and keep Virginians safe. Enough is enough. Prosecute this criminal to the fullest extent of the law and deport him.”

Fox News National correspondent Bill Melugin detailed the illegal migrant’s despicable crime on X, writing that Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) had confirmed “that the suspect charged in Fairfax County, VA in a horrific child abuse case where two boys, ages 7 & 9, were found chained at the ankles, is a Salvadoran illegal alien who was previously deported in 2019, but re-entered as a gotaway at an unknown time/location. The two children are brothers, and they were found in their mother’s home. She has been arrested, as has her boyfriend, Franklin Arquimedes Viera-Guevara.”

Melugin also shared a statement from the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), which said: “Franklin Arquimedes Viera-Guevara is an unlawfully present 29-year-old Salvadoran national. U.S. Border Patrol arrested Viera Nov. 1, 2018, after he unlawfully entered the United States near McAllen, Texas. Viera was processed for expedited removal and removed from the United States to El Salvador Feb. 1, 2019.”

The statement continued, “Viera unlawfully re-entered the United States on an unknown date, at an unknown location and without being inspected, admitted, or paroled by a U.S. immigration official. Fairfax County Police arrested Viera Aug. 16 for two counts of child abuse/neglect: reckless disregard for life, two counts of child endangerment while in one’s custody, and two counts of child abduction: by force. Later that day, ERO Washington, D.C. lodged an immigration detainer against Viera with the Fairfax County Adult Detention Center.”

President Donald Trump shared Youngkin’s post on Truth Social, adding to previous similar posts due to the radical policies of the Biden-Harris administration that have allowed unfettered illegal migration for nearly four years.
