Trump-endorsed GOP candidate Harriet Hageman of Wyoming is smashing campaign fundraising records ahead of a high-stakes primary election where she will face off against incumbent Rep. Liz Cheney, R-Wyo.

Hageman raised an impressive $1.8 million in campaign donations during the second quarter of 2022, breaking her previous fundraising record of $1.3 million, which she raked in during the first quarter of her campaign, according to Breitbart.

Hageman has become an incredibly popular alternative to Cheney, who has garnered the ire of Wyoming voters for her animosity toward President Trump.

“Liz Cheney is about America last,” Trump told a crowd of supporters at a Save America rally in Casper, Wyoming, in May.

He added, “In many ways, worse than the terrible Democrats are the backstabbing, RINO Republicans who are helping them do their act. And there is no RINO in America who has thrown in her lot with the radical left more than Liz Cheney. She has gone crazy.”

Hageman has steadily led in the polls since her endorsement from President Trump. A recent Club for Growth PAC poll from WPA Intelligence found that Hageman was holding an overwhelming 30-point lead over Cheney ahead of the August primary election.

According to Breitbart’s report, Hageman has raised $4 million since 2021, when she announced her campaign. In an exclusive interview with RSBN, Hageman stated that she believed her opponent was failing to connect with Wyoming voters.

“My major advantage over my opponent is the fact that Liz Cheney isn’t from Wyoming, doesn’t come to Wyoming, hasn’t been accountable to Wyoming, and isn’t carrying out the agenda that the people in Wyoming want,” she said.

The Wyoming primary is on Aug. 16.
