President Donald Trump has just reacted via Truth Social to Biden’s decision to seek reelection.

It was early on Thursday that President Trump posted, “Biden announced his presidential campaign by, get this, a prepackaged video, one that took 7 takes to get it ‘right,’ if right is what you want to call it. In it he says TRUMP & MAGA pose a threat to Democracy.”

The 45th president continued, “NO, IT IS BIDEN WHO POSES THE THREAT TO DEMOCRACY IN THAT HE IS GROSSLY INCOMPETENT AND BASICALLY, DOESN’T HAVE A CLUE! WE ARE NOW A NATION IN SERIOUS DECLINE, A NATION THAT HAS LOST ITS WAY. WE ARE LED BY A HOPELESS PERSON, BUT WE WILL WIN IN 2024 AND, MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!”

According to RSBN, Biden declared his candidacy on Tuesday and President Trump responded, “With such a calamitous and failed presidency, it is almost inconceivable that Biden would even think of running for reelection.”

Reuters reported earlier this month that Biden’s approval rating fell to a dismal 39 percent, and while that isn’t even the lowest of his presidency, it might be enough to allow speculation of Biden’s success in 2024.

President Trump, for his part, seems to have never been more popular.

In fact, RSBN cited via InteractivePolls that “Trump has captured a 37-point lead over popular rival Governor Ron DeSantis, R-Fla., among surveyed Republicans, with 58 percent of them indicating that he is their preferred 2024 GOP primary presidential nominee. DeSantis garnered 21 percent of support in the same poll.”

Even a lead as large as 37 points might well be on the cautious side as RSBN also reported that a poll from Clarity Campaign shows President Trump winning with a staggering 45-point lead over DeSantis.

According to Fox News, Biden has the overwhelming support of the Democrat primary voters at 62 percent, which places him well ahead of Robert Kennedy Jr. and Marianne Williamson, who polled at 19 percent and 9 percent, respectively.
