President Donald Trump delivered an extensive speech at a Turning Point Action town hall in Phoenix, Arizona, on Thursday, and followed up the remarks with an interactive town hall with the crowd, proving once again that he can run circles around Joe Biden any day.

The president took a series of questions from audience members, touching on the border, the economy, and foreign policy. Here are the questions that President Trump answered during his town hall:

What steps can Americans take to reduce the risk of drugs and violence and the threat they pose to our families?

Trump noted that “82 percent of the people” crossing over the border illegally were coming in through Arizona and California. “We’re going to use federal powers to close it up,” he explained.

He also pointed to his earlier comments about a mass deportation operation and his vow to implement the reversal of Joe Biden’s destructive open border policies in 2025.

Can American children have the same quality of life and opportunity as their parents and grandparents?

“We’re going to make sure that they have the same life,” Trump replied.

He added that he knew what kind of life the grandfather who asked the question in the audience was talking about. “It was a life of common sense,” Trump said.

“We’re going to make it safe – we have to give authority back to law enforcement…because right now the law enforcement is just not allowed to do their job,” he added.

How would the president handle the immigration-related criminal activity running rampant?

Trump focused on one thing: “strength.” He explained that the United States needed to get illegal immigrants posing a danger to American lives “the HELL out of our country.” He again reiterated the importance of returning authority to the local police forces.

The threat of Chinese and foreign incursion in our homeland is serious – how can we prevent an impending disaster?

Trump noted that “we have tremendous economic power.” He went on, “If China or some other country is behaving badly, we have things called tariffs that are SO severe.”

How can Trump bring the prices in the country back down to affordable levels?

Trump said, “We have the greatest inflation, in my opinion, in the history of our country.” He noted that everything was soaring and said “it’s much higher” than the official reports.

“It started with energy, and now it’s all over…energy is going to bring it all down,” he shared.

How can Americans get to a place where they can afford gas again?

Trump hammered home the importance of energy dominance and drilling oil. He noted, “We have more liquid gold under our feet than any other nation.”

Biden’s policies have put American national security at risk. What is Trump’s plan to bring back peace?
Trump pointed out that the media and his critics said in 2016 that he would start a war. The president said, “I was a radical for NOT having wars.”

Indeed, President Trump started no new wars during his term in the White House. He continued, “We are going to make sure there’s no wars. We don’t want to have wars. I call them endless wars.”

How can small business keep their doors open in the wake of the Biden economic disaster?

Trump reflected on how he led the country through the economic difficulties of the Covid pandemic. “We’ll take care of you, you watch,” he said.

He explained, “With Biden, he’s spending money on the wrong things. He’s not spending money on YOU, he’s spending money on things that don’t work.”

How will Trump get intense crime under control?

“We have to back our police,” Trump emphasized. “We have to back law enforcement. We have to give them back their honor and their dignity.”

How will Trump bring healthcare access into rural areas of America?

Trump vowed to pick up the process for bringing hospitals and healthcare centers to rural areas once again, noting that the Biden administration had axed those programs as soon as he took office.

“Rural Americans vote for Trump,” he said. “…Rural America, look, it’s the backbone, it’s the heart of America.”
