Hillary Clinton backs down from Trump in 2024

Hillary Clinton said she will not campaign for president in 2024 on MSNBC’s Tuesday episode of “Morning Joe.”

Clinton declared her presidential bids for the White House in 2008 and 2016 but fell short in both elections. However, some have speculated that she may be eyeing a third attempt if Joe Biden foregoes reelection.

When asked by co-host Mika Brzezinski if she has considered the option, Clinton shot down the idea but stated that she is “Certainly going to be active in supporting women running for office.” The former secretary of state also intends to help other candidates that she wants to get “reelected or elected.”

Now that Clinton has ruled herself out, there is no apparent 2024 nominee for the Democrat Party. Last August, a poll found that Harris is one of the least liked vice presidents since the 1970s. Moreover, almost half of the Democrats surveyed by the Convention of States Action and Trafalgar Group last summer expressed low confidence in Harris’ leadership ability.

For now, it is a mystery as to which Democrat will emerge as the party’s top political figure in 2024. Still, they will undoubtedly have difficulty if President Trump emerges as the Republican nominee.

Polling expert, John McLaughlin, predicted on “The Cats Roundtable” radio show that Trump will coast to the White House against all liberal foes. Referring to a Harvard/HarrisX survey, Trump outpaces Biden by five points, Harris by 11 points, and Clinton by 10 points.

Joe Biden’s decreased popularity due to his economic and foreign policy failures provides an alluring temptation for opponents to capitalize on his weakness. President Trump has yet to declare his candidacy, but his CPAC speech convinced many after he said, “We will again save our country from destruction.”
