House Speaker Kevin McCarthy, R-Calif., defended his actions to begin the impeachment investigation process against Joe Biden.

On Friday, Benny Johnson posted a clip of McCarthy stating the necessity to do so. He said, “We have three whistleblowers from the IRS.”

“We have an individual that we now found went to the FBI claiming that they bribed the president,” he added.

He also noted how Biden denied the allegations and changed his story over time.

“We need to investigate,” McCarthy said.

This comes as the House Oversight Committee Chairman, Rep. James Comer, R-Ky., revealed that they are in pursuit of an IRS document that displays evidence of Joe Biden’s alleged offshore accounts in connection to the Biden family crimes investigation, per RSBN.

McCarthy’s efforts to impeach Biden have increased. In the clip posted to Twitter, he stated, “The only way to get information that way is to have the strength to be able to get the documents you need.”
