Security preparations have begun in Fulton County, Georgia, at the courthouse ahead of what could potentially be another indictment for President Donald J. Trump.
According to video that surfaced on social media, orange barricades have been erected just outside the front steps of the Fulton County Courthouse, as District Attorney Fani Willis is expected to hand down an indictment for Trump related to phone calls that he made in 2020 to Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger.
Via a report from The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, Fulton County Sheriff’s Office spokesperson Natalie Ammons explained, “Some of the measures we are deploying, such as barriers that will limit parking near the courthouse, will be obvious to the public. For security reasons, other measures being deployed will not be as obvious.”
This looming indictment from Georgia comes amid the possibility of another indictment at the behest of federal prosecutor Jack Smith, whom Trump has indicated is likely to indict him again in a Jan. 6 investigation.
On Real America’s Voice this week, President Trump said that the onslaught of legal attacks against him would not hinder his intent to reclaim the White House in 2024.
He stated, “Not at all, there’s nothing in the Constitution that says that it could…it wouldn’t stop me, either. These people are sick, what they’re doing is absolutely horrible.”
As previously reported by RSBN, Trump may face racketeering charges in the Georgia case, where DA Willis is likely poised to accuse him of “influencing witnesses,” according to the New York Times.
An indictment in the Georgia case is expected to be issued at any time. Some social media users have speculated that the president could even be indicted twice in one week as he is facing potential charges in both a potential Jan. 6 federal case and in the Georgia probe.
