Wrestling legend Hulk Hogan said that he may serve in a role within the upcoming Trump administration.
Hogan shared the idea during an interview with Fox News host Brian Kilmeade on Sunday.
“My president said, ‘You know something, you’d be great to run the President’s Council on Physical Fitness,’” Hogan said about a conversation at the New York rally.
“At the end of the day, when I was in the back at Madison Square Garden after the whole rally, we were talking about Robert Kennedy, I was talking about nutrition, and how many foreign countries won’t even let their people eat the food that we eat here in America. It’s so bad, and it’s poisoned a generation of kids. And at the end of the day, we start talking about physical fitness,” Hogan said.
The President’s Council on Sports, Fitness and Nutrition is a federal advisory panel that encourages physical activity and healthy nutrition.
Hogan also excited the crowd ahead of Trump’s speech at the Republican National Convention in July, calling for “Trumpmania.”
Hogan’s fiery performance included ripping his shirt in front of the Milwaukee, Wisconsin, audience, and unveiling a Trump-Vance 2024 tank top to roaring applause.
“You know when I look out and I see all the real Americans, I think about how Donald Trump, how his family was compromised. When I look out there and I see Donald Trump I think about how his business was compromised,” Hogan said.
“But what happened last week when they took a shot at my hero and they tried to kill the next president of the United States, enough was enough,” he said while tearing the t-shirt he wore over his body.
“And I said let Trumpamania run wild, brother! Let Trumpmania rule again! Let Trumpamania make America great again!” he continued.
The attendees chanted, “USA! USA! USA!”
“As an entertainer, I try to stay out of politics. But after everything that’s happened to our country over the past four years and everything that happened last weekend I can no longer stay silent,” Hogan later added.
