Joe Biden’s son, Hunter Biden, responded this week to a lawsuit threat from First Lady Melania Trump regarding comments he made on a podcast earlier this month.

In an interview clip that aired this week, Biden indicated that he would not apologize for a statement he made regarding an allegation that Jeffrey Epstein introduced the First Lady to her then-future husband, real estate titan Donald Trump.

As reported by RSBN, Biden previously claimed, “You know, I mean, Epstein introduced Melania to Trump. The connections are like so wide and deep.”

The First Lady’s attorney, Alejandro Brito, sent a letter to Biden’s attorney and demanded a retraction of this claim, or face the possibility of a $1 billion lawsuit, per RSBN.

This week, Biden responded to this threat with an explicit statement on Channel 5 with Andrew Callaghan: “F*** that. That’s not going to happen,” he said, when given the chance to apologize.

Biden said that his claims were predicated on previous claims made by “Fire and Fury” author Michael Wolff about Donald Trump and Jeffrey Epstein, as well as various other sources of reporting on the subject.

According to Newsweek, Biden continued, “So, you know, fact of the matter is that, you know, I don’t think that these threats of a lawsuit add up to anything other than a design destruction because it’s not about who introduced whom to who. I don’t know how that in any way rises to the level of defamation to begin with.”

Mrs. Trump stated in her memoir, “MELANIA,” that she met Donald Trump at a party hosted at the Kit Kat Klub in New York in 1998. She has never made any mention of Epstein being involved in their meeting.

The First Lady recently flexed her legal prowess on a mainstream outlet, “The Daily Beast.”

Over the summer, the left-leaning publication deleted an article that included similar claims about Mrs. Trump and Epstein, also based on Michael Wolff’s work. The outlet also issued an apology.

It is unclear at this time what Mrs. Trump’s next legal move against Hunter Biden may be in light of his refusal to apologize for his statements.
