Incoming Trump border czar Tom Homan revealed that America is in “grave danger” due to illegal immigration following a New Year’s attack in New Orleans and Cybertruck explosion in Las Vegas.

Homan shared the concerns during an interview on Fox News’ “America Reports” on Thursday.

“This country is in grave danger. We need to secure that border, and despite what’s happened in the last two days in Las Vegas and in New Orleans, this administration is not stopping. They’re still releasing thousands of people every week… without proper vetting,” Homan stated.

“We’ve got a record number of known gotaways. Over 2 million people entered this country. We don’t know who they are or where they came from or what their purpose was for coming to this country,” he continued.

Shamsud-Din Jabbar was identified as the suspect in a New Orleans attack in which he reportedly drove through several people on Bourbon Street before exiting his vehicle and opening fire before being killed by police. At least 14 people were killed and dozens were injured in the tragedy.

Hours later, a U.S. Army active-duty Special Forces operations sergeant identified as Matthew Livelsberger set off an explosion inside a rented Tesla Cybertruck in front of the Trump International Hotel in Las Vegas. He died in the vehicle and seven others were injured.

Both men reported served in the military and were even at the same military base, though officials claim each man acted alone and that there was no connection between the two incidents.

Homan noted that he was unaware of any connection in the attacks but shared his personal opinion that there may be some sort of link later discovered.

“This is a gut feeling. I’ve done this for three-and-a-half decades. I just think there’s too many similarities,” Homan told Fox News anchor Sandra Smith. “Too much coincidence. I think something down the road — they’re going to show there’s some sort of connection… I could be wrong — it’s just a gut feeling that I have.”
