President Trump’s unexpected visit to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, on Saturday afternoon was an opportunity to share one of his newest creative ventures: collectible Trump sneakers!
The president unveiled the shoes at Sneaker Con, in front of a crowd who was pumped to see the 45th president. The bursting audience greeted him with cheering and signs that read, “SNEAKERHEADS FOR TRUMP.”
Trump described his newest business enterprise as “part of Americana,” and thanked the “Sneakerheads” for showing up and watching him unveil the shoes. ‘They say they’ve never had a turnout like this,” he remarked.
At one point, Trump invited a woman in the crowd who was shedding a few tears upon seeing the president onstage in person. He invited her to briefly take the podium, where she stated, “Yes, we need him! He’s a Christian, he’s a good, honest man – they’re after him for NO REASON. GO OUT AND VOTE FOR TRUMP! Vote TRUMP!”
She added, “He’s a good man. Look at his family, they’re all good kids.”
The crowd erupted into chants of USA, USA” and “F*** JOE BIDEN!”
Trump is selling a slate of collectible footwear, including “Never Surrender High Tops,” as well as “T-Red Wave” and “POTUS 45” tennis shoes. The gold high tops are only available in one collectible batch of 1,000.
