Joe Kent ramps up campaign, champions America First platform

Joe Kent, Republican candidate for Washington State’s third district, has ramped up his bid to oust anti-Trump Republican Rep. Jamie Herrera Beutler, who is one of 10 Republicans to vote in favor of Trump’s impeachment.

Kent, a Trump-endorsed Republican, has made a series of recent media appearances to discuss how he will place an America First policy agenda at the center of his campaign.

Kent, who earned Trump’s endorsement, is a retired Army Green Beret with over 20 years of combat experience and is outspoken on several key America First policy items, including election integrity, energy independence, border security, support for military and law enforcement, protection of the unborn, and an end to endless wars.

The congressional candidate earlier this month revealed plans to host a series of townhalls to connect with voters.

Kent has several campaign events scheduled ahead of May’s GOP primary, including a highly anticipated fundraising event hosted by President Trump at Mar-a-Lago.

Trump carried Washington’s third district twice in 2016 and 2020. Beutler is currently serving her sixth term in the conservative-leaning district.
