Joe Kent, a retired Green Beret running for Congress, announced that President Donald Trump will be hosting a fundraiser at Mar-a-Lago in support of his campaign. Joe Kent is running to replace Rep. Jaime Herrera Beutler, R-Wash., in Washington’s 3rd congressional district.

The fundraiser for Joe Kent is scheduled for Feb. 1, 2022 at Trump’s headquarters in Mar-a-Lago.

The event is highly anticipated as President Trump’s support and endorsements are critical for serious Republican contenders in the 2022 primaries. The event will give Joe Kent an opportunity to generate support for his bid to unseat Congresswoman Beutler in Washington’s 3rd district. Additionally, it is sure to raise significant financial support that will be necessary for Kent to have a legitimate chance against the current establishment Republican.

Those who attend the fundraiser will get the privilege of enjoying a private reception with Joe Kent and President Trump. Attendees will also have the opportunity to take pictures with the 45th president and with Joe Kent. Tickets for the event will sell quickly given the immense popularity of President Trump at Mar-a-Lago.

Trump endorsed Joe Kent in September, saying, “Joe Kent has my Complete and Total Endorsement!” He described Kent as, “A warrior for the America First agenda, unlike Jaime Herrera Beutler who voted, despite the facts, against the Republican Party and for the Democrats’ Impeachment Scam.”

Joe Kent’s campaign offers an alternative to Beutler, who is seen as a traitor to conservatives and supporters of President Trump.

After the 45th president’s endorsement, Kent thanked him and told Americans, “I’m honored & ready to take our country back!”

Defeating an establishment Republican will be a significant task for Joe Kent, however with Trump’s assistance, he could generate enough support to become the Republican candidate for Washington’s 3rd district.

Trump’s MAGA base is determined to replace the 10 U.S. House Republicans that voted to impeach Trump in January 2021, with strong conservative candidates who promote the America first agenda. Beutler, who voted to impeach Trump, could face backlash from Republican voters in the 2022 primaries.

Trump’s fundraiser for Joe Kent is one of many campaign events the 45th president will be hosting for Republicans during the 2022 midterm elections. Each event generates more excitement for Republican candidates and motivates the MAGA base to continue to vote for America first candidates. The 2022 midterms will reveal just how effective President Trump’s campaigning for Republicans is.
