Rising conservative superstar Kari Lake explained this week the significance of the Arizona Supreme Court’s Wednesday ruling to order the lower court to revisit the issue of signature verification in her election integrity lawsuit against Katie Hobbs and Maricopa County.

“I am thrilled that the Supreme Court has agreed to give our signature verification evidence the appropriate forum for the evaluation it deserves,” she said in an official statement.

“For years signatures have been a third rail for Maricopa County. The process of verifying these signatures is the only security measure on mail-in ballots,” Lake added. “The amount of time allotted to check these signatures was only 8 seconds, which is not humanly possible. The system is completely broken. That’s why they are absolutely terrified of letting anyone take a look at their signatures. The signature verification process in Maricopa County is a house of cards. Thanks to this ruling my team will get the chance to topple it.”

As reported by RSBN, the Arizona Supreme Court ruled declined to hear most of Lake’s case, but confirmed that the signature verification process element of her suit should be sent back to trial court.

This was a significant ruling for Lake, who lost the Arizona gubernatorial election in November by just over 17,000 votes.

“Immediately following the election, multiple Maricopa County Elections Department officials – individuals who were involved in the signature verification process – reached out to me and urged my team to review the signatures,” Lake continued in her statement. “Now, thanks to the Supreme Court ruling, my team will be able to give the signatures the scrutiny they deserve.”

Per RSBN, a hearing at the Arizona Senate Committee on Elections revealed evidence of ballot procedure violations in relation to signature verification processes. Lake tweeted in January, following the hearing, that the Senate testimony “CONFIRMS nearly 40,000 ballots illegally counted (10% of the signatures reviewed).”

“The whistleblowers came forward with revelations of massive failures in the signature verification process,” Lake explained on Thursday. “These whistleblowers were intimately involved in the process and they allege that Maricopa County WILLFULLY ignored law and procedure.”

She noted that the violation of procedure “allowed for tens of thousands of illegal ballots to be approved and counted,” pointing out that “nearly 60% of polling locations” were inoperable in Maricopa County on Election Day.

“…this issue alone casts the veracity of Katie Hobb’s victory in serious doubt,” she concluded.
