Arizona GOP gubernatorial candidate and conservative firecracker Kari Lake recently gave Americans a major update on her ongoing election case against Maricopa County election officials and former Secretary of State Katie Hobbs.
“We will be filing our case with the AZ Supreme Court by this Tuesday (2/28) and we will be asking for an expedited review,” she wrote on Twitter on Sunday night. “As soon as the filings are available I will share them with you. Please pray for justice.”
This latest move to send her case to the Arizona Supreme Court comes after the Arizona Appellate Court affirmed the superior court’s decision to confirm Democrat Katie Hobbs as the state’s governor.
As reported by RSBN, the case was heard in the Court of Appeals in early February. The lawsuit brought forth evidence of major problems surrounding election day processes in Maricopa County, including tabulator problems, voting machine malfunctions, and the questionable processes surrounding chain of custody documentation in connection with paper ballots.
Since the 2022 election in Arizona, Kari Lake has emerged as a conservative superstar for the America First movement, becoming a national figure for spearheading the fight for election integrity and security in the U.S.
Lake was recently in Iowa, where she attended two back-to-back events with the Scott County Republican Party, as well as with the Dallas County Republican Party and Northside Conservatives. The events were packed and overflowing, highlighting Lake’s national appeal to voters in states well outside of Arizona.
Lake has made it her mission to “Save Arizona,” and has since set up the “Save Arizona Fund,” which allows concerned Arizonans and all Americans to get involved in the movement to “get answers for our botched election.”
According to her website, “In the aftermath of the November election, too many questions have been raised about our election, and it’s time to demand answers. Our team has filed one of the strongest election lawsuits in history. Together, we will restore honest elections to our damaged system.”
Lake is slated to deliver remarks at the Ronald Reagan Dinner at the Conservative Political Action Convention (CPAC) on Friday, March 3, in Washington, D.C.
