Arizona Republican Senate candidate Kari Lake made a historic haul on Wednesday evening after a successful fundraiser held at President Trump’s home, Mar-a-Lago.

The Trump ally and political firebrand revealed on X that she had netted $1 million in just a single day.

She wrote, “We made history at Mar-A-Lago. One million dollars in one day. Thank you to everyone who made this possible. Both the White House & the Senate majority run through Arizona. We need all hands on deck to save America from the radical left.”

According to Breitbart, Lake’s million-dollar haul is a record for a non-incumbent Senate candidate, representing hundreds of thousands of dollars more raised than Republican Ohio Senate candidate Bernie Moreno’s previous record $350,000 haul in a single day.

Lake will likely put that money to good use in the Grand Canyon State, where she is up against current Rep. Ruben Gallego, D-Ariz., who has pivoted into a U.S. Senate race in his state.

Gallego will be a tough opponent, but Lake has a cadre of hardline conservative allies and donors on her side. According to the latest Race to the White House polling averages, Gallego is leading Lake by just over three points ahead of the November election, which gives Lake plenty of time to gain ground with the proper grassroots campaign work.

Overall, Polymarket’s famous forecast has predicted that the GOP has an overall 50-point advantage in this year’s nationwide Senate races, which gives candidates like Lake and Moreno a favorable boost during a critical election season.

Lake ran for governor in Arizona in 2022 on the Republican ticket and carved out a name for herself as a rising conservative star who was unafraid and unashamed to embrace her alliance with President Trump. A prospective win for Lake in Arizona would be a critical victory for Republicans in the Senate, who are hoping to creep closer to a majority.
