Republican gubernatorial candidate for Arizona governor Kari Lake let loose on election fraud and Joe Biden during an exclusive interview with Dan Ball on “Real America.”
Lake, who President Trump has endorsed, decried the horrendous conditions at the southern border, promising, “When I’m governor, we’re not going to take any cues from Joe Biden. He’s an illegitimate president.”
She continued, “We’re not going to take cues from him and have him tell us what to do. He’s driving this country into the ground, and I will be damned if I sit by as governor and let him drive this state into the ground. We’re going to secure that border.”
In early April, Lake was out-polling every Republican and Democrat gubernatorial candidate in the state of Arizona ahead of the August primary.
Additionally, Lake netted double the amount of signatures she needed to qualify for the primary ballot, illustrating her popularity with potential Arizona voters concerned about the safety and security of their state.
Lake continued in her remarks with Dan Ball, calling the United States “ground zero” and pointing out that “if we don’t have a border and we don’t have honest elections, we don’t have a country.”
Unsurprisingly, Lake has been a strong advocate for election reform amid widespread reports of election fraud and irregularities throughout the country following the 2020 presidential election.
In April, Lake called for the decertification of Arizona and Wisconsin’s election results. “Decertify Wisconsin now. And Arizona,” she stated on Twitter, citing a graphic that showed the people’s demand to decertify the election results in light of overwhelming reports of voter fraud.
Lake has taken a tough stance on the unsecured southern border by promising to finish building President Trump’s southern border wall. She also recently vowed to shoot down drug cartel surveillance drones that enter Arizona airspace.
During the interview, Kari Lake hammered the idea that Biden is a legitimate president. She stated, “That election [2020] was a sham, and he’s [Biden] trying to destroy this country. And we need to get all of the governors to start ignoring him. And frankly, I think we need to decertify that election.”
