Kari Lake wants justice for ‘deadly’ 2020 election

Arizona gubernatorial candidate Kari Lake says lives have been lost as a result of the 2020 election, and justice must be served.

In a video she shared via Twitter Saturday, Lake said, “I want to see justice for a stolen election … because this election had deadly consequences.”

Those consequences, the former news anchor noted, have included overdose deaths from drugs smuggled across the southern border as well as the deaths of military members.

“There were deadly consequences in the way that this illegitimate president pulled out of  Afghanistan,” Lake said. “Thirteen of our finest men and women in the military lost their lives. Americans were trapped because of that.”

The gubernatorial candidate also noted that Americans have been struggling to afford basic necessities like gas, groceries, and baby formula, holding that the situation would get “much, much, much worse” before the November elections.

Lake’s comments come amid calls for further investigations into the legitimacy of the 2020 presidential election results following the release of the documentary “2000 Mules,” which provided evidence that ballot trafficking may have affected the results in multiple swing states.

On Wednesday, for instance, Republican lawmakers in Michigan urged Attorney General Dana Nessel to investigate the film’s claims and, if she finds that they are true, issue charges against Secretary of State Jocelyn Benson and others where necessary.

But with questions about Joe Biden’s legitimacy and the worsening state of the country casting a dark cloud over Democrats, the answer to calls for justice may come in the form of a red tidal wave this November.
