First Lady Melania Trump voiced her support for her husband’s newly-announced 2024 presidential bid in exclusive comments made to Breitbart, heralding the 45th president’s achievements and lauding his ability to lead America toward a brighter future.

She told the outlet, “I support my husband’s decision to run for president of this wonderful Nation. His achievements during his administration had a great effect on all of us, and he can lead us toward success and prosperity again.”

She added, “I await the day when my husband returns to lead an America that is characterized by peace, love, and security.”

On Tuesday night, President Trump officially announced his presidential candidacy during a speech at Mar-a-Lago in Palm Beach, Florida. “Unlike other presidents,” he reminded the crowd, “I kept my promises.”

Mrs. Trump was supportive and graceful in her role as First Lady in the White House during the Trump administration. She launched the “BE BEST” initiative as First Lady, which worked to encourage children to be their “best in their individual paths, while also teaching them the importance of social, emotional, and physical health,” per the White House Archives.

“Over the past two years, Be Best has played a major role in spreading awareness, highlighting successful programs and acts of kindness, and encouraging public-private sector relationships to help children overcome the struggles they face every day,” Mrs. Trump stated during her time in the White House.

Preceding her husband’s bid to reclaim the presidency, she also crafted NFTs to raise money for foster children. Per RSBN, in September, she launched a Christmas-themed NFT to benefit foster children with a beautiful collection called “The Christmas Star.”

First Lady Melania was present at Mar-a-Lago for President Trump’s campaign announcement. Their son, Barron, also made an appearance to support his father’s journey to recapture the Oval Office.
