First Lady Melania Trump’s memoir “Melania” reached #1 on the New York Times bestseller list, her X account announced.
Her new book took the top spot in the hardcover nonfiction category three weeks ahead of Election Day, just ahead of Lisa Marie Presley’s “From Here to the Great Unknown.”
The first lady offered a preview of her upcoming memoir in a popular video weeks ahead of the book’s release which promised to include new personal information on her life with President Donald Trump.
“My Story. My Perspective. The Truth,” the first lady shared alongside the video.
“Writing this memoir has been a deeply personal and reflective journey for me,” she stated in the video.
“As a private person who has often been the subject of public scrutiny and misrepresentation, I feel a responsibility to clarify the facts. I believe it is important to share my perspective, the truth,” Trump continued.
Skyhorse Publishing’s description of the book describes the first lady’s book as “a compelling and inspirational memoir that offers a glimpse into the life of a remarkable woman who has navigated challenges with grace and determination.”
The book’s topics include her Slovenian childhood, a focus on her years as a working model in Europe and New York and meeting Donald Trump.
“She shares behind-the-scenes stories from her time in the White House, shedding light on her advocacy work and the causes close to her heart,” the description continued.
“Melania offers an unprecedented look into her time as a First Lady who was born outside the United States — a role she embraced with honor and dedication. It brings readers into her world and presents an in-depth account of a woman who has led a remarkable life on her own terms.”
Fox News also reported that Melania Trump is expected to release a special collector’s edition of her new book featuring exclusive images she photographed at the White House and beyond.
“The collector’s edition of the former first lady’s first-ever memoir, ‘Melania,’ features 256 pages in full color, with each copy signed by Trump,” Fox News stated.
“The collector’s edition includes photos hand-selected by Trump, many she photographed herself surrounding her home and various trips she has taken around the world,” it added.
